home gallery sales background contact links	COMMISSIONING If you require something special, you may like to consider having it made to commission.  All my work is individually designed and made, so I can readily cater for particular needs.  It can be exciting and rewarding.
		THE PROCESS 1)Prelimary discussion 2)Presentation of the design 3)Modifications to design if required 4)There is no commitment to follow through with the commission until this stage, when you can choose whether or not to place the order  (there is no separate fee for the design work).     EVOLUTION OF THE DESIGN TO FINISHED PIECE The design process involves free-hand sketches, conventional working drawings  and computer models. I place a high importance on how the design is presented and provide both 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional views.  The  latter are generated from the computer model and so are accurate and can easily be modified. These are provided together with samples of the materials to be used.
